Application Note V-105 Specifications for PL06 Type Plug

This Application Note provides wiring and dimensional specifications for the PL06 plug. This is the plug used for to mate with the power supply jack used on all Vetra products requiring external power. This application note does not specify voltage and current requirements, as these may vary from product to product, and is generally supplied in the specification section of the product page.

Note: The +V must be connected or present on the center 2.5mm pin and supply ground on the 5.5mm outer barrel. Check the specifications of your power supply manufacturer to make sure +V is on the center pin, as some manufacturers may provide +V on the outer barrel.

If you choose to provide your own power supply, and have any questions as to the power pin configuration or specifications that we require, please make sure to call our Tech Support department before powering your unit. Products that are damaged, or do not perform properly as a result of improper powering, are not covered under our warranty.
