Description: The USB-804-TS "MegaTouch"" 4 Port USB Touch Screen KVM Switch allows one USB keyboard, USB mouse and one USB touch screen video monitor to control four USB PCs or Servers. It is the ideal solution for USB touch technology applications requiring access to four computers, without the clutter and expense of additional keyboards, mice and touch screen monitors. The USB-804-TS supports all popular USB keyboards and USB mice, as well as USB touch screen monitors from 3M and ELO in video resolutions up to 1600 by 1200 at 75Hz. At the heart of the USB-804-TS 4 Port USB Touch Screen KVM Switch is Vetra's advanced, patented technology, which provides and supports true USB functionality through the switch. Connected keyboards and mice enumerate correctly, devices may be "hot-plugged" at any time, and the connected PCs may be powered up and down in any order. The unique architecture of the USB-804-TS 4 Port USB Touch Screen KVM Switch ensures error free boot up and device driver loading for each connected PC, and allows the MegaTouch to operate transparently with all USB compatible PCs and iMAC's, PC operating systems, and applications. The USB-804-TS 4 Port USB Touch Screen KVM Switch comes in a variety of standard configurations, is compact in design, easy to install and operate, and is ideally suited for desktop use, however, for applications requiring rack mounting, an optional 2U height rack mount tray is available (see Accessories ). The USB-804-TS is also available as a Dual-Head USB Touch Screen Switch and as a USB Touch Screen Monitor Switch (touch screen monitors only, no keyboard or mouse) for applications where a keyboard and / or mouse is not required. For more information on this product or our complete line of KVM solutions, please contact us at sales@vetra.com OPERATION: All USB-804-TS "MegaTouch" USB Touch Screen KVM Switch models can select the active PC via a keyboard "hot-key" sequence ( [scroll lock] + [1] for PC1, or [scroll lock] + [3] for PC3, etc ) or by a push button(s) located on the front panel of the USB Touch Screen KVM Switch. Direct Entry models (as indicated by -DE in the model number) have an individual push button switch for each selectable PC channel as well as an "auto-scan" mode ([scroll lock] +"A"). Auto-scan sequentially switches through each connected and powered PC, pausing for 5 seconds at each PC before automatically switching to the next PC. The selection of any powered PC channel terminates the auto-scan mode. Direct Entry models do not allow selection of "dead" PC channels (unpowered PC or not connected). Non-DE models have a single push button (NEXT PC) which provides manual sequential switching through all PC channels. Each time the "NEXT PC" button is depressed it switches to the next PC channel in the cycle. Non-DE models allow the selection of all PC channels regardless of power status. In all cases and on all models, when a PC channel is selected, an LED on the front panel illuminates to indicate the selected PC while additional front panel LED's indicate which PCs are powered. Upon selection, the intelligence in the MegaTouch correctly sets the keyboard's status indicators, CAPS, SCROLL, and NUM Lock, as these settings may be different for each PC. The keyboard and/or mouse may be disconnected and re-connected (hot-plugged), or exchanged at any time without having to power down the connected PC's. This feature is useful if a connected device fails during a critical application.

Connections: Standard USB type A-B cables are used to connect the MegaTouch to the USB ports of the PCs, and standard HDD15 Male-female video cables are used to connect to the video ports of PCs. Using standard cables eliminates the need to replace an entire multi-port cable if one connection is damaged or fails, thereby reducing the overall cost of maintainence. You may use your cables, or ours (see Accessories ). The captive cables that are part of the keyboard, mouse, and monitor are used to connect these devices to the MegaTouch. Specifications: Dimensions for the USB-804-KMV-TS and USB-804-KMV-TS-DE USB Touch Screen KVM Switch are 2.63 in H x 8.08 in W x 6.32 in D (6.68 cm x 20.52 cm x 16.05 cm). The housings are molded of black GE Cycolac-T, a high impact ABS material, and is internally shielded with an acrylic base nickel coating for RFI attenuation. Front and rear panels are fabricated from .062 in thick aluminium and finished with low gloss paint. All USB-804-TS USB Touch Screen KVM switch models are powered from an external power supply which is supplied with the unit. FCC and CE marked. Shipping weight is less than 3 lbs per unit.
